A memorial service for Arla N. Stebritz will be held at the Henry Olson Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. with Vicar Kim Kacmarynski officiating.
Visitation will be held at the Chapel prior to the service from noon until 1:00 p.m.
Inurnment will at Armstrong Grove Cemetery, Armstrong, Iowa, at a later date.
Arla N. Stebritz, daughter of Arnold E. and Goldie E. (MyKing) Bergen, was born July 20, 1950, in Fairmont, Minnesota. She passed away at her home in Armstrong, Iowa, on January 24, 2025, at the age of 74.
Arla graduated from Fairmont High School in 1970. She attended Jackson Vocational College following high school. Throughout her early life, she worked as a factory worker, waitress, and bartender. She was united in marriage to Darrell Quiram and the couple had two sons, Brent and Bradley. This marriage was later dissolved. On February 14, 2003, she was united in marriage to Paul “Jed” Stebritz. The couple made their home in Armstrong and Arla worked as a dietary aide at Valley Vue Care Center for many years. She most recently worked at Hy-Vee in Fairmont.
Arla was a member of the Nazareth Lutheran Church in Armstrong. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary. She was a past member of the Eagle’s Club and American Legion Auxiliary of Fairmont. Arla enjoyed throwing darts, bowling, and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her dog Andi, and cat, Kiki.
Left to cherish Arla’s memory are her sons Brent (LeAn) Quiram of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Bradly Quiram of Fairmont, Minnesota; her step-children, Donald (Anna) Stebritz of Laramee, WY; LuWanda (Chris) Towell of Estherville; Amanda (Brian) Hagy of Forest City, Iowa; grandchildren, Kyle, Payton, Rylea, and Sophie Quiram; step-grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth, and Jayden Stebritz; Taylor (Samantha) Linn and Cody (Melanie) Linn; Lyndsay and Ashton Towell; Logan and Tianna Murray, Kynlee Folkerts, and Kaden Hagy; step-great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Kennady Linn, and Waylon, Evie and Alison Linn; brothers, Brian Bergen and Glenn Bergen.
She has been preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul “Jed” Stebritz, and many aunts, uncles, and extended family.
