The Armstrong Betterment Club is again hosting a Fall flower pot decorating contest but with an added twist this year.
Last year the club’s contest was centered around scarecrows. This year they have opened it up and contestants are encouraged to decorate the pot they reserve in any fall-related way.
Here’s what you need to know:
• $25 entry fee
• Pots and scarecrow stakes provided — stakes are available if you’d like to create a scarecrow again
• Only 16 pots available, so don’t wait to sign up
• Register by September 11
• Decorate your pots September 15 to October 15
• Judging: October 21
• 1st, 2nd & 3rd place will receive Armstrong Bucks
Get creative and help bring some fall fun and personality to Main Street. Whether you create a festive fall display, a spooky scene, or bring back the ever-popular scarecrow, the ABC can’t wait to see what you come up with!
