Ashley Marlow, 27 of Burt, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024, at her home. Funeral services were Monday, April 29, 2024, at 10:30 AM at the Burt Presbyterian Church in Burt. Services were live streamed via Lentz Funeral Home’s website. Interment took place at Burt Township Cemetery in Burt. Visitation was Sunday, April 28, 2024, from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the Burt Presbyterian Church in Burt. Services were entrusted to Lentz Funeral Home of Burt.
Ashley Rae Marlow, the daughter of Mitchell Marlow and Ginger Frink, was born on October 4, 1996 in Algona, Iowa. She worked as cook and more recently was a home health care aid for her grandpa Kearn. She was a member of the Burt Presbyterian church. Ashley loved to fish and would go anywhere, at any time, with anybody. She had a passion for crocheting. Ashley also loved art and wanted to try any new fun art projects that she could find. These included painting, puzzles, rock tumbling and more. Ashley had a love for plants, along with being an animal lover. She enjoyed spending time with her cat Blue and her chinchilla. Ashley also enjoyed baking for everyone and would often make beautiful and fun cakes for everyone’s birthday! Ashley loved to buy others gifts and showered her little brother Cullen with them often for no reason.
Left to cherish Ashley’s memory are her parents, Ginger (Chris) Frink of Burt and Mitchell Marlow of Elkader; siblings, Elijah Marlow, Abigail Marlow, and Cullen Frink; and grandparents, Larry and Janet Johnson of Burt and Kearn Marlow of Elkader. She was preceded in death by her brother, Christian Fisher and grandma, Angela Marlow.
